The International Relations program at Trinity College, the Margaret MacMillan Trinity One program, the Department of History at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), and the International Issues Discussion (IID) series are proud to present the 5th annual Trinity-IID International Relations Student Conference: Friday, March 21st, 2025 at Trinity College, University of Toronto.
The conference is open to students at the undergraduate level to showcase their own work in any field of international relations history or contemporary international studies. This will be an excellent opportunity for students to gain important conference experience: ideal for those aspiring to graduate studies, but, more broadly, also for anyone seeking to improve on their presentation/participation skills. The intent of the conference is to showcase student talent and help foster a scholarly community between TMU and University of Toronto students, while offering them an invaluable experience to present their well-developed academic work.
The Trinity-IID Student Conference will be held in-person at Trinity College, University of Toronto as a one-day event. Presenters will be chosen on a competitive basis by a panel of academics. A full schedule of presentations will be determined by the topic matter of successful entries. Presenters will have 15 minutes to summarize their work and findings/arguments, after which panellists and/or the audience will pose questions. Depending on how many entries there are for the conference, time allocations may change.
